The Role

We seek to appoint a committed and dynamic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work with specific children throughout the whole school. Our teaching and support staff work hard and enthusiastically as one team with the belief that every student can succeed and transform their life chances, achieving more than they dreamt possible. You will be able to enthuse and motivate our students with your passion for learning, your presence and personality.


This position will involve supporting our pupils with specific social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. Therefore, we would welcome applications with expertise in these areas.


The successful candidate will be required to provide academic, emotional and social support to young people to help them overcome barriers to learning, ensuring that individual pupils engage more effectively in learning and participating in the life of the school. Candidates will have the ability to identify specific barriers and implement a range of strategies to support both basic skills and access to the curriculum under the guidance of the SENDCO and SEN Team.
