We seek to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and dynamic Leader of English or Assistant Vice Principal with Subject Leader responsibility for English for the right and experienced candidate to join our team.
You will have the ability to inspire young people, instilling a love of English both as an academic subject and by applying it to the world around them. You will be an advocate for your subject and forward thinking in your approaches to development, change and improvement.
We are extremely proud of our Ofsted visit (September 2023) which saw us secure a ‘Good’ judgement. This visit highlighted that staff are extremely proud to work at the school and feel well supported by leaders.
This is a school which has evidenced rapid improvement and this is demonstrated by how we are regularly leading Professional Development across the northwest. Our passion for reading threads through the curriculum and we recently have been accredited ‘Area of Excellence’ for reading through Challenge Partners. This is a growing and now over subscribed school. It is a very exciting time to join us on the journey to ‘Outstanding’
If you are an exceptionally skilled teacher with a proven track record of effective leadership an Assistant Vice Principal role with a responsibility for English may be considered. We are seeking a well-rounded, experienced and inspirational leader ideally who can demonstrate the impact of their work on the lives of the young people in their care.
The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of our Person specification and be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
